Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 01/01/25
At FieldProof, we take privacy seriously. Whether you’re a construction technology company working with us to validate your product—or an industry professional helping test and improve those products—we’re committed to handling your information with transparency and care.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information as part of our service-based business.
1. Who We Are
FieldProof, LLC. is a service company that connects construction technology businesses with experienced industry professionals to provide real-world product testing, user research, and feedback services. We work hands-on with our clients and participants—not just through a platform, but through direct coordination, interviews, and feedback loops.
2. What Information We Collect
We only collect the information we need to deliver our services effectively and responsibly.
A. Information You Provide
Contact Information: Name, email, phone number, company, job title.
Professional Details: Role, years of experience, trade specialization.
Business Details: Information about your company’s products, goals, and testing needs (for clients).
Feedback Content: Audio/video recordings, survey responses, and session notes (always with consent).
Payment Info (Testers Only): We may collect payment details via secure third-party processors to deliver incentives.
B. Information We May Collect Automatically
Basic website analytics (e.g., page views, session duration) via tools like Google Analytics or cookies—used to improve our site and understand traffic patterns.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
Coordinate beta tests, interviews, and focus groups.
Match industry professionals with relevant product feedback opportunities.
Deliver insights and reports to our clients (with identifying info removed unless you give explicit permission).
Communicate important updates, opportunities, and next steps.
Process incentive payments for research participants.
Maintain records for billing, scheduling, and service delivery.
4. How We Share Information
With Clients: You control what’s shared about your product or service.
FieldProof delivers insights, not identities. Clients receive tester feedback through structured reports, transcripts, or recordings—but they do not get direct access to testers’ personal information.
Our client agreements prohibit them from contacting testers directly. All communication goes through FieldProof.
With Testers: Testers may be asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before participating in certain tests. It’s optional. If you’re not comfortable signing, no problem—we’ll find someone else in our network who is.
In all cases, testers are expected to treat client tools, concepts, and discussions as confidential, whether or not a formal NDA is in place.
In Industry Reports or Case Studies: We may use anonymized or aggregated tester feedback to highlight trends, best practices, or insights for broader industry reports. We’ll strip out all personally identifiable information (names, company names, location references, etc.) unless we’ve received written permission to include it.
With Vendors: We use trusted vendors (e.g. for scheduling, payments, cloud storage) who only access the data needed to perform their part of the service.
Legal Compliance: If legally required, we may share information with regulatory authorities—but only as necessary and with full transparency.
5. Data Security
We take practical, real-world measures to protect your information:
Secure cloud storage systems with restricted access
Password-protected tools and encrypted communication channels
6. Your Rights and Choices
You can:
Request to view, update, or delete the information we have about you
Ask to opt out of future communications or data collection
Withdraw consent at any time (unless we’re required to retain data for business or legal reasons)
Just email tcampbell@fieldproof.com—we’re happy to help.
7. Data Retention
We only keep your information as long as necessary to:
Complete your engagement with us
Maintain appropriate records for accountability, billing, or compliance
Improve our services with past anonymized insights
8. Changes to This Policy
If we make changes, we’ll update this page and notify you directly if the updates are significant. Your continued interaction with FieldProof means you accept the changes.
